STRATEGY FOR BIM IMPLEMENTATION IN PUBLIC PROCUREMENT IN SPAIN

Green Building Factory participated in the AARC Consortium project, funded by the European Union and led by NTT Data, to develop a BIM implementation strategy for the Spanish public procurement system and its ministries. Green Building Factory contributed to the definition and drafting of four of the six project deliverables, covering the following topics:

- STRATEGY for the implementation of BIM in public procurement processes in Spain

- ACTION PLAN for the implementation of BIM in public procurement in Spain

- RECOMMENDATIONS to promote and consolidate BIM capabilities

- BIM TRAINING

In addition, Green Building Factory staff developed and facilitated training for the following groups of government representatives:

- Senior Officials of the Spanish State;

- Technical Managers of the Spanish State Ministries;

- Representatives of the Autonomous Communities of Spain;

- Representatives of the Municipalities of Spain.
