LEED and Sustainability-Related Services.

CATTINARA AND NEW BURLO HEALTHCARE COMPLEX.

The Cattinara Hospital is located in Trieste (Italy) and with more than 100.000 m2 and 846 beds represents the main healthcare complex for the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia. In 2013 the local government decided to have a major renovation of the whole complex with an addition of the new “Burlo” hospital, a scientific and research healthcare facility, with a total budget of 140.000.000 €. GBF provided the  architectural firms involved in the project, Arch.  Semerani (Trieste) and Jonathan Bailey (Texas - USA), all the services required for the LEED certification process during the design bid and development. Our technicians supported the designers for the development of all certification-related tasks and of the project-design itself.
